KBIG is a private limited company
established in 2001. Its aim is to create very substantial long-term value from
the lowest possible cost base. All of our Intellectual Property is
generated in-house and is managed by a KBIG main board director, who is a
vastly experienced Patent Attorney. Our resources are directed solely
toward creating, developing and protecting our fast growing Intellectual
Property Portfolio and the brainpower required to foster and protect it; we
do not buy in technologies, and neither are we a technology “incubator”.
Our business strategy is to develop our
Intellectual Property only up to the point where it will command licensing
and/or collaboration deals on advantageous terms with carefully selected
partners, who will usually themselves carry the costs of further testing,
manufacturing, sales & marketing, and maintaining patents. This leaves
us free to create demand-led technologies without the heavy investment
burdens otherwise demanded by involvement in manufacture, sales and
distribution.
Over sixty patents have been
filed at the time of writing and there are always many more in various
stages of development. Collaboration Agreements are in force with a
wide variety of companies with whom KBIG is actively engaged in designing
and developing new high-value products and processes. Many of these are
household name multinational corporations, and span a wide variety of
industries and sectors.
